​Lake Preston Water and Wastewater Improvements Phase 1

• Halme, Inc. is the prime contractor on this $6.9 million project for the City of Lake Preston.  There is approximately 29 city blocks that will be reconstructed and have all new watermain, sewer main and storm sewer installed.  The project also includes cement treated subgrade on a majority of the streets, and 737' of 6" pipe installed by horizontal directional drilling.  The project engineer is Banner Associates.  Traffic Solutions, Inc. of Harrisburg, SD, Efraimson Electric of Bryant, SD, Foerster Testing of Brookings, SD, Area, Inc. of Lake Norden, SD, Horizontal Boring & Tunneling of Exeter, NE, Bowes Construction of Brookings, SD, and Timmons Construction of Brookings, SD are subcontractors on this project.

Lewis & Clark Regional Water System Treated Water Pipeline - Madison Service Line 2/3A

• Halme, Inc. is the prime contractor on this $16.5 million project for Lewis & Clark Regional Water System.  There is approximately 16 miles of 16" PVC pipe to be installed on this segment of their project.  There is also 3400' of 16" directional drilled pipe, and 850' of 24" jack and bore steel pipe.  The project engineer is Banner Associates.  EBI Drilling from Duluth, MN, Foerster Testing from Brookings, SD, Iowa Trenchless from Panora, IA, and Guardrail Enterprises from Chancellor, SD are subcontractors on this project.

Aurora Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Improvements - 2022

• Halme, Inc. was awarded the project to install the new main lift station for the City of Aurora.  The project includes installation of a new wet well, valve vault, and generator building.  It includes a new natural gas fired backup generator, as well as all new pumps and controls.  The existing wet well and valve vault are to be retrofitted into a transfer structure and bypass vault.  The project also includes installation of a new 10" forcemain line to the city's existing lagoons.  The subcontractors on the project are Bowes Construction of Brookings, SD, Efraimson Electric of Bryant, SD, Guardrail Enterprises of Chancellor, SD, Lehtola Builders of Lake Norden, SD, and Vertex Construction of Bryant, SD.  In total, this project was awarded at $2M.

Kingbrook Rural Water System Bryant Pump Station

• Halme, Inc. was awarded the project to install the new pump station for Kingbrook Rural Water System.  This project includes a new pump station building with all new interior process piping, pumps, and controls.  A new meter pit to supply water for the new Washington Dairy Project.  It also includes a new 127,000 gallon ground storage tank, LP backup generator, and misc. site and process piping.  The subcontractors include Area, Inc. of Lake Norden, SD, Efraimson Electric of Bryant, SD, Great Plains Structures of Vadnais Heights, MN, Lehtola Builders of Lake Norden, SD, and Vertex Construction of Bryant, SD.  The project engineers are DGR Engineering out of Rock Rapids, IA.
